Samuel and company have made it through the shale wasteland and have come upon a house. Samuel relates a story of “Tin Can Fred” – a character from his past that has a gruesome practice in the post-apocalyptic zombie city he used to live in.

Between clearing the driveway I’ve had a chance to write more as I warmed up.  Took a short break to talk to my brother who is between jobs as a Linux programmer and Network Administrator via Facetime.  He’s saying it’s cold down in Florida at 55 degrees… but he’s still in a short sleeved shirt and sitting on his porch.

Now I get to rake off the snow from the roof.  Fun!! I think I’ll loop the “Happy Happy Joy Joy” song from Ren and Stimpy.
